Baseline Studios — Terms & ConditionsLast updated: July 9, 2026Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before booking or becoming a member.By checking the box to accept these Terms at booking or signup, you are entering into a binding agreement with Baseline Studios — this acts as your electronic signature and confirms that you have read, understood, and agree to all sections below, including the cancellation policy, damage and cleanup fees, and the 12-month commitment terms for annual memberships. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not check the box, and do not proceed with booking or membership.By booking space at either Baseline Studios location — Virginia Beach or Suffolk — or by enrolling in a membership plan, you agree to be bound by these Terms.1. Definitions- "Studio," "Space," or "Facility" refers to either Baseline Studios location: Virginia Beach (2310 Princess Anne Road) or Suffolk (326 E. Washington Street).- "Booking" refers to any reserved use of the Space, whether by the hour, Half-Day Block, Full-Day Block, or as part of a membership plan.- "Member" refers to any client enrolled in the Baseline Membership or Baseline Pro plan.- "Client," "you," or "your" refers to any individual or business booking or using the Space, whether a Member or non-member.These Terms apply equally to hourly bookings, Half-Day and Full-Day Blocks, month-to-month memberships, and annual membership commitments, except where a section explicitly states otherwise.2. Bookings & Reservations2.1 Booking ConfirmationAll bookings — hourly, block, or membership hours — must be reserved and confirmed in advance through Baseline Studios' booking system. A valid credit card must be kept on file for all bookings, whether or not the booking is prepaid.2.2 Setup & Teardown Time**Your booked time includes all setup and teardown. If you require 20 minutes to set up your equipment, that time is deducted from your total booked session — it is not additional time. You are responsible for managing your setup and teardown within your reserved window.2.3 End of BookingYou must vacate the Space by the end of your reserved booking time, regardless of whether you have completed your shoot, session, or event. This includes returning the Space to a clean, reset condition as described in Section 2.4 — cleanup and reset time must happen within your reserved window, not after it. Another client may be scheduled immediately following your booking, and late departure will not be accommodated. Repeated failure to vacate on time may result in additional charges and/or restriction of future bookings.2.4 Leave the Space As You Found ItClients are responsible for leaving the Space — including all rooms, equipment, furnishings, and common areas used during their booking — in the same condition it was in at the start of their session. This includes returning props, equipment, and furniture to their original placement, removing all personal items, trash, food, and set materials, and leaving surfaces clean. Failure to do so may result in the cleanup fee described in Section 6.2 and/or damage charges described in Section 6.3.2.5 Respecting Other ClientsIf your booking overlaps at the Space with another client's session (e.g., in shared common areas), you agree to avoid disrupting their shoot, recording, or session in progress. Do not enter, film, photograph, or interfere with another client's booked time or session.3. Eligibility & Space Use Policies3.1 Minimum AgeClients must be at least 21 years of age to book, rent, or hold a membership for the Space. Individuals under 21 may only be present on-site as part of a booking made by a qualifying adult Client, who assumes full responsibility for their conduct.3.2 AlcoholAlcohol is not permitted on the premises at either location, under any circumstances, including during celebrations, milestone sessions, workshops, or any other booking type.3.3 OccupancyBaseline Studios does not currently publish a fixed maximum occupancy per location. Clients are expected to keep guest counts reasonable for the space booked and the nature of the session. Baseline Studios reserves the right to limit or reduce guest counts on-site if a session poses a safety, capacity, or disruption concern, at its sole discretion.4. Cancellations & No-Shows4.1 Hourly & Block BookingsCancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance of the scheduled booking time. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice, or no-shows, are non-refundable, and the full booking amount will be charged to the credit card on file.4.2 Membership HoursCancellation of a scheduled session using membership hours follows the same 24-hour policy above. Late cancellations or no-shows will result in forfeiture of the hours reserved for that session.4.3 Cancellations by Baseline StudiosIf Baseline Studios must cancel or reschedule a confirmed booking (e.g., due to maintenance, facility issues, or emergency closure), affected Clients will be offered a rescheduled booking at no additional cost, or a full refund/credit of hours for the affected session, at the Client's choice. Baseline Studios is not liable for any indirect costs a Client may incur as a result of such a cancellation (e.g., costs related to models, crew, or vendors booked by the Client).5. Memberships5.1 Month-to-Month MembershipBaseline Membership ($250/mo) and Baseline Pro ($550/mo) are billed monthly and may be canceled at any time with 30 days' written notice prior to the next billing cycle, unless enrolled under an Annual Commitment (see 5.2).5.2 Annual CommitmentMembers who elect the Annual Commitment discount (first two months at a reduced rate) agree to a 12-month membership term, beginning on the membership start date. By accepting the Annual Commitment discount, you agree that the membership cannot be canceled early for any reason during that 12-month term, and you remain responsible for the regular monthly membership payment for each of the 12 months. In exchange for this commitment, the Member retains full access to their membership hours and all included benefits for the entire term. This obligation reflects the Member's agreed exchange for the discounted rate already received, and is not intended as a penalty for breach, but as continued performance of the membership term the Member selected.5.3 Unused HoursMembership hours do not roll over month to month unless otherwise stated in writing at signup. Unused hours expire at the end of each billing cycle.5.4 Overage RateMembers may book additional hours beyond their monthly allotment at the member rate of $60/hr, subject to availability.5.5 Featured CreatorMembers may opt into Featured Creator status at signup for an additional monthly fee. Featured Creator status is available exclusively to active Members in good standing and may be revoked if membership lapses or is canceled.5.6 Non-TransferableMemberships are non-transferable and may not be sold, shared, gifted, or assigned to another individual or business.6. This card may be charged for booking fees, no-show/late cancellation charges, cleanup fees, damage costs, and any other fees described in these Terms.6.2 Cleanup FeeClients must leave the Space, including any shared common areas (e.g., the coffee/lounge area), in the condition it was found. Termination for cause is effective immediately upon notice and does not entitle the Client to a refund of any prepaid fees, membership dues, or unused hours.8.2 Effect on Annual CommitmentIf a Member's membership is terminated for cause under Section 8.1 while under an Annual Commitment (Section 5.2), the Member remains financially responsible for the remaining monthly payments owed for the balance of the 12-month term. Termination for cause does not relieve a Member of the payment obligations they agreed to in exchange for the Annual Commitment discount.8.3 SurvivalSections 6 (Payment & Fees), 7.2 (Content Ownership), 9 (Liability & Indemnification), and any payment obligations that accrued prior to termination or expiration of these Terms shall survive termination, cancellation, or expiration of a Client's membership or booking relationship with Baseline Studios.9. Nothing in this section requires a Client to indemnify Baseline Studios for damages caused solely by Baseline Studios' own negligence.9.3 Force MajeureBaseline Studios is not liable for any failure to provide the Space due to events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to severe weather, natural disaster, power or utility failure, government order, or other emergency. In such cases, Section 4.3 (Cancellations by Baseline Studios) governs rescheduling and refunds.10.
